  Had an appointment here for an open MRI at a relatively busy hour. The wait was typical (20-30 minutes) but the tech had excellent bedside manner and was very accommodating. What to expect from the MRI: depending on your scan target, the total length of the scan may vary. Your head is held in place between two foam cushions, and you're provided MRI-compatible headphones for music and communicating with the tech - have a Pandora station in mind before you go. Multiple images will be taken. When the machine takes an image, there is a burst of rhythmic metallic banging (anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes). It's loud but I honestly almost fell asleep towards the end. The tech I had talked to me throughout the entire process, letting me know what to expect next and how much time was left. I never want to be in a situation where I have to have any imaging done again, but if I did, I'd be happy to do it here.

  I arrived at the facility at 8 o'clock for an 8:15 appointment. They called me for the check in process within 7 minutes and I was being scanned by 8:15 on the dot. The tech explained what she was doing with every position change and apologized for any pain I may have experienced. My scan was completed by 8:45 and I was back home before my family even knew I was gone. Thank you everyone from the scheduler to the tech for such excellent customer service.
